This time, the Senwes Equipment team switched it up a bit when, instead of the usual glitzy evening function, they opted for a more modern theme with a classy champagne breakfast event on The Barn’s rooftop. Marketers from across the country gathered to cheer on their colleagues amidst cheerful celebration, great food and lots of laughs. Senwes Equipment Managing Executive Ferdie Pieterse gave props to the winners for pulling together in toughest of times and producing outstanding results against all odds. During his speech at the ceremony, he reminded them that a brand is nothing without its ambassadors, and that each one of them is a Senwes Equipment ambassador. “If we each take accountability for that which we must do to make a difference and we give it our best every time, we can only be successful.”, he said.

The day presented an opportunity for the various suppliers to meet and socialise with Senwes Equipment marketers. They had the opportunity to individually recognise the top performers for their respective brands. JCB again recognised Eddie Fryer as the JCB Marketer of the Year award. Rovic Leers conferred the honour of Best Equipment Branch to Hartswater for the second year running. Prodist handed the Best Growth in Sales Award to Jaco van der Walt from Koppies branch. Other winners of the day included Bothaville who were recognised as the John Deere workshop of the year, Belinda Barnard who was named job cart clerk of the year, Erich Leibbrandt who received the tongue-in-cheek rebel of the year award and JP Smit who received the best sales for the year award.

Amongst the big winners of the day were Wessel de Wet and Johan Swart who walked away with three and four awards respectively. They both agreed that the recognition that these awards given to excellent service goes a long way in encouraging them to work harder and push to get even better.

Congratulations to all the winners.
