The Cascade brand of pump solutions is aimed at servicing a wide range of water supply and irrigation applications in the domestic, industrial, garden and agricultural markets.
In fact, we’ve travelled several thousand miles, over land and sea, to develop a range of irrigation solutions that’s not only perfectly suited to our local conditions, but is crafted to the highest quality standards and is very competitively priced.
The Cascade brand of irrigation solutions is aimed at servicing a wider range of applications in the domestic, industrial, DIY and garden irrigation markets. The project began in October 2016, and it was decided to investigate and source the range from the East, after which a Prodist team went overseas in February 2017 to meet with various manufacturers.
After careful consideration, a few manufacturers were handpicked to be considered for production. Samples were flown in and tested vigorously to ensure that they performed well in Southern African conditions. What we now have on offer for you are the best comprehensive irrigation products and solutions, tried and tested by Prodist, and proudly house-branded as Cascade.
There are 7 pumps that are perfect for domestic DIY and garden irrigation applications. They are supplied with a 3-point plug connected with a flow control and combination pressure vessel. Flow rate capabilities include 1 000 litres to 5 000 litres per hour.
The range was further extended to incorporate an efficient horizontal stainless steel multi-stage pump with VSD (variable speed drive) that offers flow rates from 3 000 litres to 10 000 litres per hour. Cascade also comes with 5m and 10m float switches, 3 types of DSK Flow Controls ranging from 1.1kW to 2.2kW 230v, a range of intelligent control boxes that are supplied complete with capacitors for the Wortex borehole motors.
They can also be used to protect surface motors and pumps. They range from 0.37kW to 2.2kW 230V and 0.75kW to 7.5kW 400V. These intelligent control boxes offer basic protection from underload, overload and phase failure conditions. They also offer a low voltage auxiliary capability to connect float switches, pressure switches, etc. to start or stop the pump.
It also includes a range of variable speed drives, complete with 0-10 bar pressure transducers. The range covers the following types of motors: 1.5kW 230V, 1.5kW 3X230V and 2.2kW to 7.5kW 400V. Available at selected retailers. For more information, please visit our website at
