A trip through Potchefstroom, the heart of the North West is on the menu this time around. We explore the city’s attractions such as the renowned University of the North West, the music and arts festivals as well as other hidden gems. Potch, as it is well-known, is also a prominent agricultural area. We talk to a directing cattle farmer in the area, Gideon Oosthuizen of De Beerskraal Boerdery, and also learn a little more about leather tannery. Presenters Theo Vorster and Rozanne McKenzie also talk to Ferdie Meyer, the director of BFAP as well as Gerhard Schutte, the Chief Executive Officer of the Red Meat Producer Organization.
